The Museum of Zen Culture and History, Komazawa University

The Museum of Zen Culture and History introduced a wide variety of display cases, including back-structured wall display cases with swinging doors and large, free-standing cases. Certain free-standing cases are designed to be viewed directly from above, others obliquely. For each type of exhibit, the museum selected the case that was most effective and easy to handle. For particularly important exhibits, seismic isolation designs were adopted to protect the items from earthquakes.
